When it comes to cardio, we love a good piece of equipment that will kick our butts. (Inspire Cross Row and WaterRower, we’re looking at you.) And one of the newer machines to hit the floor is actually an oldie but goodie: the air bike. Don’t be fooled, though. It’s just like riding a bike, but not at all. Unlike a traditional bicycle or spin bike, the air bike has a big fan in lieu of a front wheel (check one out here). And if you’ve heard rumblings that it ain’t easy, it’s true. These “assault” bikes will blast major calories, but straight up humble you, too. Click above for more info and sample workouts and check out the Schwinn AD Pro bike, rated # 1 in the market and you'll see what we mean!

It’s time to set that New Year’s resolution. And we’re not talking about vowing to drop pounds or get lean (though these ideas might help in those departments, too). When it comes to following through with resolutions, the more specific, the better. So we rounded up eight of the most bad-ass (yet doable!) fitness goals you’ll want to steal for 2018 — from finally crushing a pull-up to balancing in a handstand, and a few others in between. Plus, we share the concrete steps to help get you to the finish. Pick one or tackle all eight. Either way, we see some big wins in your future.
Well, the research tells me that as long as the ailment is from the neck up - head cold, sinuses, etc. - a lower intensity 30 minute workout will not exacerbate my condition and my actually make me feel better. If I was struck with the flu, with elevated body temperatures, stomach issues, then I'm better off in a blanket with some hot spiced rum, a nighquil and a Christmas flick!I've found that the key bit of advice in all this that I've read on the web (after the Flu Like symptoms bit) is "lower intensity." When you're shopping for your treadmill, focus on the qualities of the treadmill itself - the type of deck, weight of the treadmill, the programmed workouts that will get you to your fitness goals! Don't be distracted by things like TV screens and Internet displays, which do not contribute to the quality of your workout! Look for treadmills built by manufacturers that invest in the quality of the treadmill itself and not in the entertainment features. Click above for even more details on what specifics to look for and "look out for!"
